SHOULD I BRING HEELS TO MY SESSION?
Like lingerie heels are an entirely different category of what the heck am I going to wear and what should I bring to my boudoir photo shoot? Well my beautiful friend I am here to give you the low down and help you through picking what works for you!
Whether you want to wear your heels, try on mine, bring in cowgirl boots, sneakers, or go barefoot it is totally up to you. I usually am up for everything and anything and think you are gonna look amazing in whatever you put on!
Comfort Level: So when we wear heels in the studio we are mostly laying on the bed, or in them for about 2-5 minutes. So if they are a little uncomfortable then I would say yes you can bring them if they are bangin’ hot. If you can’t stand or walk then we can do sitting or laying posed 😉
Style: Heels can add that touch of glamour and sexiness to your shoot. The higher the better I always say. They make your legs look longer and your bum look even better! So I say go with the tallest you can stand. But a lot of the time we are barefoot and I love that look too so don’t worry we are gonna get a ton of variety. And if we are in a more casual outfit I always opt for barefoot.
Outfit: Like above we will always take the outfit into consideration first. Sweater and knee-high socks = no heels. Black sexy bra and panties = yes heels!
What type of heels should I bring to my shoot? Oh, the possibilities!
Stilettos: My personal favorite and I have some in my studio you can borrow. A high heel with a little skinny heel really makes your legs look longer. A thicker heel while it may be more in fashion right now doesn’t look as sexy.

Ankle straps: I love these too, especially if they play with the strap adding fun embellishment or a bow on the back.
Love me some gold and the butterfly embellishment!
Platform Heels: These heels have a thicker sole under the ball of the foot, which can provide more stability and make walking easier. They can also add height and elongate the legs and make you look even taller! I love the power pose in these heels!
A good scrappy number is always a good idea!
Peep-toe heels: These had an open-toe design and can show off a fresh pedicure. I don’t typically go for these because they can make your toes look a little squished so I would stay away from them.
Nope don’t do it lol.
Lace-up heels: These heels feature laces that can be tied up the leg, which can add a touch of sexiness and create a statement look. I’m all for these and how sexy they can look!
These with a black or pink tulle robe just scream widow maker to me haha!
Cowgirl boots: Cowgirl boots are so cute and add a rustic casual look to your outfit. I prefer a nice heel vs a 1″ heel for cowgirl boots. Pair it with your man’s hat and you’re good to go!
Any shoes that I should not bring?
Kitten Heels: They may be easy to walk in and make your feet hurt less. But they do not look good in photos so just say no to comfort. We will be in heels for a few mins so throw comfort right out the window. I’m gonna include a link so you can see what NOT to bring.
Any shoes that I should bring that are not heels?
Totally! If you want a sporty look with a jersey bring some nikes, converse or sporty sneakers. Sexy Calvin Kline Comfy look you can wear sneakers. Have some sneakers you just love and think are sexy pair it with a matching bra and panties or joggers. This shoot is about you and I’m here to make you look good in anything. Except for kitten heels. haha.
